What can I say? gosh ... thanks.

That's a neat field that you're in. It takes seriously special skills to be a teacher. My hat's off to you.

I'm an instrumentation & controls engineer, so I've learned to be a little OCD in my thinking about technical things. My best successes working with contractors (almost always the low bidders) on our construction projects have been after I've had a chance to sit down with them with a cup of coffee and talked abut the reasoning behind the written specs.

As one of my fellow I&C guys said, the really good I&C engineers have made lots of mistakes. I can't call myself a realy good one but, if my explanations go off on some wierd tangent and end up in the wrong place, just roll up a newspaper and get my attention with it (no Sunday NY Times, please <grin>)
