The inner tie rod replacement is easy, once you have the right tool. They make the tool that's like a deep socket with interchangable inserts to fit the flats on the inner tie rod nut. Rent, or buy, they are reasonably priced and are a good tool to have for the future. Figure about 1 hour from start to finish.
