Hey Kevin,
When I replaced my alternator I had the same problem. There are 3 bolts holding the bracket down and I got the top one (the one at the AC bracket) and the right one (near the oil filter). The top one cant clear the alternator so just pull it out as much as you can. The right one will come all the way out. Then use the pivot bolt as a lever and carefully rotate the alternator bracket counterclockwise. After about 15 degrees or so you can pull it right out. When you are done you might wanna replace those stupid hex bolts with real bolts. The threads are M8.
