i went with the boge/sachs shocks. i am looking to get rid of the harsh ride i have now. i live in an area that the roads are crap. i was told that one sign of worn shocks can be a very stiff ride even if they dont seem mushy or bouncy. the poly bushings werent expensive, so if leaving them out will help i will take your advice. i bought my car in colorado where i dont think they use much salt. the bolts look good and i have been spraying them with pb blaster this week. thanks for your help and the link RS, i will welcome your help during my install this weekend if i have any trouble. i notice that on the ball joint page link you sent dave didnt go into the lowers. is the sway bar that is connected to that ball joint any trouble? do you just remove the bolts and let it hang while replacing the b.j.? thanks again.
