Search "ABS Fluid Light" for some reading on the subject. I don't think there is an easy/inexpensive solution!
My '90 SPG has a couple attacks of "ABS & Fluid Lights staying on", each spring when the weather gets hot. When the lights are on, the pump is running continuously, but the brakes feel exactly the same as "normal". I've changed the fluid, all pads/rotors look fine, connectors have been cleaned and reinstalled with dielectric grease. Turning key OFF and restarting has no effect - as a matter of fact, I've never found anything that DOES have an effect on this! If I recall correctly, the 2 lights will come on after 10-12 pumps of the pedal, during normal operation on this car. I surrendered. It comes, and luckily, it goes. I try to avoid allowing the pump to run any more than necessary if I can. A decent "rest period/cool down" seems to fix it.
Yes - I have a spare "junk yard" ABS setup, and may have to change it someday.
Many of these cars exhibit these symptoms.
