on the turbo-to-intercooler or intercooler-to-throttle body. Sometimes, when boost pressure is high, the pressurized air will find a route to escape at that high pressure. The pressure in the ducts oscillates between safe and excessive, giving you the bucking you're experiencing. Check for cracks or splits in the rubber boots and for loose hose clamps on them.
Either that or spark plugs, distributor cap/rotor, or spark plug wires are way beyond the state that they should be changed.
