You have 4 freeze plugs on the exhaust side of engine.
Two in the engine block and two in the cylinder head.
The two in engine block is easily replaced without removing anything but it requires a special freeze plug (prybar shaped) tool to knock the new ones in easily and safely.
Most shops will have this tool since it is used on any car brand when replacing freeze plugs.
It can be done without the tool but takes a lot longer and the result might not be perfect in that you might push the freeze plug through and into the engine.
The two smaller freeze plugs in cylinder head cannot be replaced without removing exhaust manifold.
The cost for replacing the engine plugs is about $110.00 and the cost for cylinder head plugs comes up to about $290.00 but will also include replacing the 4 long exhaust manifold studs and gaskets.
