...do I see.
Yesterday I removed the sunroof wind shielding strip and I am very happy.
I was sick of sitting there, looking up and seeing, not blue sky, but BLUE PLASTIC.
And my hair is always so classically rumpled, a little more wind in the car gives me an excuse for it. (There is a touch more but not an objectionable amount.)
I do miss the cool look. I'm toying with the idea of cutting down a stock windscreen so the plexiglass has sort of a gull-wing shape, steering the wind up but letting me see the sky. All the junkyard cars I find have closed sunroofs and dead batteries. Maybe I can find one with the keys in it and borrow a jump-start pack from the junkyard operators to power it open.
