Speaking of the starter solenoid. I have two leads coming from it. One I have the yellow wire connected, it's the positive, I'm pretty sure of, because when I tried to connect to the other lead and turned the key, it sparked heavily. When I touch the it to another metal source it sparks heavily. I'm thinking that the other lead needs to be hooked up. I think it is the negative. But where in the heck do you connect it to. As I said earlier, I changed the starter and parked it and just now coming back to it. Silly me, didn't take pictures or anything so, I now have no idea where to mount it or what to connect to the negative lead. I guess that's my question. I'm not completing the circuit am I? Also, I've notice the wire that goes to the alternator is corroded (copper rust, you know the blue-green stuff). I'll need to change that as well, I think.
I don't think I'm that far away from getting this thing running. I only wished I had some pictures. There are no Saab manuals in this city anywhere!!! I guess I'll have to order a Bentley online.
Thanks, for you help, I will let you know how it works out!!!
