could also be AMM, particularly if you see wide idle swings at cold start.

Any white smoke at startup? = headgasket symptom
Any small bubbles coming out of small hose nipple in coolant reservior when you rev the engine? = headgasket symptom

When you pull your plugs, if one or two of the plugs look incredibly clean and new, that's the cylinder(s) affected by a bad headgasket. If too much coolant settles in the cylinder overnight, you may get "hydrolock" and blow the engine up. Time to take the cure and replace the headgasket.
