O.K. yet another Tire Question Posted by devin [Email] (#2469) [Profile/Gallery] (more from devin) on Wed, 12 Oct 2005 07:46:37 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Hi All,
Have got BF Goodrich Touring TAs all around on my 92T that are now discontinued. The fronts are about shot after 15K. Still tread in the middle of the tire, but have been sketchier than I like during recent hurricanes etc. Rears still O.K. for now.
I wasn't happy or unhappy with these tires. They just kind of were there. Although they were better in the rain than things I've had in the past. Dunlop D60/A2's, assorted Continenals etc.
Wet weather handling is important to me because I really don't like driving in the slop. I also like to go fast regardless of weather conditions. To get out of the way of the EXPEDITION hogging the left lane on I95 etc.
Don't think I'm going with snow tires this year because it didn't snow much in Delaware last year. And because I may be moving to sunnier climates in the Spring. So I want all-seasons.
Don't mind spending a bit more money than the BF Goodrich's if the tires'll last a bit longer and make my car handle better.
Somebody tell me what to buy. Michelins? Which ones? Or talk me out of them.
thanks,
Devin
