If it were me, i'd rather spend the money and have working ABS. I'm not sure if the rears are designed like the fronts, but I would try removing the sensor and cleaning the tip. Also, check the wire for any cuts or nicks, and make sure the connections are clean and in good condition. Failing that, wheel speed sensors are $110 each. Be thankful it's not your master cylinder.
