mortals. Anders can do it in a few hours, but, well ... you know ... it's that combination of good Swedish blood and California sun.
I'm in the middle of a trans install. I got an '88 SPG with a solid body but a cracked transmission case. I suspect that it may have run dry through a poorly tightened inner driver bearing flange and burned up the new pinion bearing.
The body is solid, like yours, so it's worth the time (cuts, scrapes, dirt-under-the-fingernails, etc.) to me.
