...then I got to thinking about it. My car has a manual trans, and I connected the line that feeds the clutch master cylinder, but I didn't check to make sure that the port on the reservoir where it connects was open. Is it normally open on a new Girling unit, or do they leave it plugged (for use on AT cars) and you have to open it yourself? If it's open by default, how do they plug it on AT cars?
I could pull the line off and check (may have to do that anyway, for peace of mind), but the reservoir's now full of fluid and that'll make a mess...
