Take the cabin light switch out of the center console and check it with a meter to be sure you are getting good electrical contact. If you can't figure out what connections go where... pop the rocker piece out with a couple of thin screwdrivers, clean the inside and look at the contacts to see what goes where. Pop the rocker in and check for proper connections. If all is well, plug it back in and see what happens with the lights. I have found this and broken ground wires at the door jam switches are usually the problem.
