There are 5 bolts total and two different lengths -- did you bust it putting it in? There are 2 each of the 8125262 and three of the 8125197 -- the longer bolts are the 8125262.

You have a monster of a problem here, because if you destroy the plate the bolts go into, you will be pulling the engine. If the bolt is broken below the surface, I would make a drill bushing for a guide, and get a matched drill/easyout setup. Your NAPA guys might be able to help select the proper size, but the real problem is that there is no room for a drill. You could try to set up a right angle drill adaptor, and find a way to apply pressure to the drill from the firewall side. Once you have a hole in the broken piece, then insert the easyout and try to back it out. I would apply heat to the area surrounding the broken bolt, and try to expand the metal so the remaining piece can come out. The aluminum will expand faster than the bolt material.

What amazes me is that the bolt broke, and didn't strip out the threads. If you get it out, I would replace all of them if they are that weak. The water pump cover on the opposite side uses three bolts just like the short ones.

Oh -- if there is any exposed bolt above the surface of the plate, then you can carefully try to grind a slot into the bolt, and fit a blade screwdriver into the piece. Apply heat to the plate to thermal cycle it and try to back out the broken piece.

Once you get the bolt piece out, try to chase the threads with a tap making sure not to cross the threads - use some oil when using the tap. Good luck and I will say a prayer to Odin for ya.
