I get the relay click, the dash light comes on like it's supposed to, it just deosn't go off unless I really rev the engine. When I first get going, the battery light kind of pulse at around 2000-2500 rpm, then gets constant at 3000 and usually goes out for awhile. Then as I drive longer, the rpm needed to make the light go out get higher, and the rpm at which the light comes on get higher. ie at first, light goes out at 2500, keep rpm above 3000 light stays out, rpm dips to under 3000, light comes on, need to rev to nearly 4000 to get it out, keep engine at about 3200 to keep light off, then it goes on at 3200, rev to nearly 4500. I have no clue, and I made a living for almost 10 years working on British cars. LOL
