Joe98, Yeah that's a strange one. The tip of the clutch shaft may be fused into the pilot as Swedecar said. The solution is likely to be cutting the shaft and that implies cutting through the slave as well. If it comes to that you should drape and plug everything to keep grit out from where it shouldn't go and then zip through with a slicing blade on an angle grinder. Slaves and good used clutch shafts are pretty cheap. I've never had to do this but I've heard of other guys that did. Good luck.
