I assume you meant to write off instead of on when saying it takes about a full minute before it turns on.

I would do the pump the pedal trick to see the status of the ABS accumulator. Anything else could be a sluggish pump problem.

I't is not unheard of that the hydraulic pump itself gets tired and that would extend the time it takes for it to reach the pressure to turn itself off.

A sticking pressure monitor switch could also extend the pumping time.
