This will essentially work, but be aware the '85 will have a barrel-style front motor mount, the '87 will have a hydraulic. You can either swap front covers, or get the barrel-style "adapter" from a later 900 or 900S (not turbo). Be aware that swapping front covers may have an additional gotcha - some of them have a front support bearing, some don't. I can't tell you which ones do off the top of my head, just be sure you put back on the same type of cover that you took off.
