You can get a new OEM heat shield for around $80.00 from either http://www.eeuroparts.com or http://www.thesaabsite.com

If you can install it yourself, I can't imagine 80 bucks would be much more than having someone fabricate something. Plus with a SAAB shield, the design/function would be right.
