I am having problems with the top on my recently purchase 88 900T convert. The problem is that it won't go up or down. I hear a clicking noise when I hit the switch and once and a while the top motor makes noise for a couple of seconds and then stops.

I have confirmed that the 30A fuse above the passenger wheel and all other relevant fuses are good.I replaced the relays and that made no difference. Top motor has plenty of fluid.

What are the two diodes under the back seat? (one has a brown wire going to each end, the other has a black wire going to each end) am I correct that they are related to the top? I disconnected one and it was fairly corroded and actually brokle apart when I opened it. I can't seem to find these diodes on any of the Saab parts sites.

Help!
