Flushed out cooling system about a month ago, and replaced coolant with gold jug mercedes coolant, car ran nice and cool, just above center of gauge. Leaky autobox but runs and shifts fine, topped off fluid on Sunday and I'm careful not to go too high or too low. Car has been running great...on the highway doing about 65, temp creeped up sort of high, which is ok, but stayed up once i was off the highway which is not...stopped at a light, and suddenly jumped up too high, so I shut her down and pushed the car to the side of the road, with a trail of coolant and tranny fluid close behind. After I let the car cool down, topped off and bled the cooling system, startd up fine but wouldn't go into gear. Topped off the tranny fluid and was good to go. Didn't overheat, no apparent leakage on the way home, car seems to be OK now....Car has aircooled tranny, not water so its not that....any ideas?
