It really is an easy job - once you locate the two bolts/screws under the hood, up near the doors; this is the hardest part of the whole operation. Use the Bently and lots of looking/flashlight to locate, then they are easy to remove with a flexible extension. One of my bolts had been replaced with a different size by the PO, but they are easy once you figure out where they are - may need to move some wiring off to the side to see them. Then, like others have said, the console has to be removed and the double bolt behind the ashtray - I am not an expert (but just did this a couple of months ago, right after staying at a Holiday Inn Express), but it looks like a bolt screwed into a bolt, both have to be removed (someone correct me if I am mis-remembering). It is a very tight fit to remove the bolster, but wiggling it back and forth and putting downward pressure on it will finally get it out. Lots of things can be done while this is removed - it is easier the second time around!
