No offense taken. Just reread my post and it did sound defensive... didn't mean it to. I agree with everything you've said. Actually, when I first got my car, the alarm was real hassle cause it didn't come with the remote. My wife got me the remote along with a remote pager for my birthday that year which made driving my car a lot more pleasant. I guess in a way, I'm amazed that the system still works after all these years.....
