Power tools. I bought a cordless impact wrench. It's a good one (DeWalt), and worth **every penny** and more. I wish it had been the first tool I'd ever bought.
Take a look at a c900 spindle. Look like a pain to take off? Takes five minutes, tops, with the impact wrench. Valve cover? Zip zip zip. Like buttah.
I got a smaller wrench that does about 140 ft-lbs. Not enough for the axles (I use the breaker bar to get them started), but good for nearly everything else. They, and others, sell 200+ ft-lb versions, too. I wanted something lighter.
I've got some adaptors, too, that I stack to bring it down from 1/2-inch to 1/4-inch drive, then I use a 7mm socket on rad hoses, and a 1/4-inch hex adaptor for torx bits.
Gear Wrenches are also worth their weight in gold. Well, almost. (Gear Wrench = same parent company that also owns Matco tools.)
