This Amsoil MTF doesn't appear to be GL-4/5? but is EP, which is more intended for hypoid gears?? not to say it might perform very well, indeed, and it'll be interesting to see how it goes. There is no Series 2000 10W-30 or 10W-40 engine oil? The Townsend info, although dated, still seems like the best info going - is the shop still recommending it, for warm/hot climates?

I wonder what the SOC participants use/discuss? Another, not often mentioned lube is Lubro Moly 75W-90
