real good reason other than "well we'll just do this and it should be ok..." :-(

as others have said, it was probably a simple problem that has been made worse by neglect. if you do go for this car, be aware that it will be a labour of love if it's got headgasket issues until you get it sorted and maintained again.

you probably won't be able to go down this path without investing some dollars. although you may get lucky and if you do count your stars. if not, at least you tried.
