Getting a Classic 900 for my 97 900

I'm trading my 97 900SE for a Classic 900 Turbo.
My car has been tricky since I first got it in 2002.
The turbo never seemed to be fully functioning. It had to be fixed a few years later
after the car started "bucking" when pushed up past 65 MPH. Power Steering leaked all over the
engine causing it to stall on a major highway. Coolant leaks. Dashboard/electrical problems.
Now it is almost at 140,000 so instead of sinking more money into it, I decided to trade it...
for this darling 900 in a paisley green. It only has 46,000 miles on it from 1990 on. Excellent condition, no rust, no wear or tear. What kind of maintenance should I do? Someone said use only synthetic oil and do a yearly coolant flush. Is there anything else routine I should be doing? Transmission fluids? Thanks!
I feel like I'm regressing but with the great condition of the car and the mileage, it seems like a good deal.
