Your right… anything is possible when people get a hold of something… my Frankenstein 86 SPG is technically an 89½ when I average the model year’s the donor parts came from.

Do you have a door panel off… you could put a note next to the build tag on the door that says “fooled you” since an SPG is supposed to say Aero… kidding of course.

Your convertible project sounds like my future Beryl Green SPG project… I’m going to call it “110” (you know, only 109 imported into the county)… the color is what intrigues me, not the fact that it’s 1 of 109… anyway, I rather build to suite than pay thousands of dollars for an original… it’s the building/modifying that brings the gratification for me.
