Hi! I *hate* it when that happens! First consider making sure it is in fact engine oil. I would get down and run a finger thru the goo and smell it, compare with oder from the end of the dipstick. does the dipstick register any oil, just low, or maybe all is good? There are other items that occasionaly give up the ghost and blow their guts onto the ground/floor, including brakes and clutch. You can check the res for the brakes/clutch, it's the white plastic cap directly in front of the drivers side of the car. just a thought.
Also you could get a large cardboard box, knock it down so that it is two layer thick, and slide under the car and center under the engine. Try to get something that will cover from inside of the front tires side to side and from the front bumper to past the tires. use to boxes side by side if needed. Two layers to keep the top layer from soaking up the stuff on the floor. If your dipstick reads low add oil to full BUT NOT MORE THAN TWO QUARTS. If it's leaking out badly two quarts will come out again (no need to put more money on the floor), you should be able to check the clean cardboard withing an hour or less to see where the leak is coming from. If nothing comes out right away monitor it for a day or two just to be sure.
As to the battery, you could purchase an inexpensive battery charger, $30 or less, to put a charge on the battery. The kind that stops charging when done is best, but if you will check it on an hourly basis (and do not run overnight or when you are away - can't check it) then that would work too. It's like me cooking in the oven, I have to keep checking! Harbor Frieght or a google search for one. An autoparts store or auto dept in Walmart Target or the like too.
Get a (here comes the sexist statement) male buddy that knows how to check the water in the battery, add *distilled* water to full. Then do the charge.
You can test the battery is charged sufficient to start the engine by pulling the coil wire from the COIL (not the distributor cap - it's too easy to jar the cap), put in neutral, and crank for a couple of seconds *ONLY*. even if the oil has drained out this will be ok, but I do mean SECONDS -like TWO. Like crank crank and stop. If it won't crank over keep charging, and check that carboard.
