see how that CO2 "emissions number" just crept into the test result sheet...another apparent poisonous gas the State can use to legislate our cars off the road with...you can be sure their will be a posted limit soon enough and all our cars will fail it. Anyhow....rant over...sounds like you are pushing your luck with the cat...I would replace it if crap is falling out of it...chances are your NOx and HC limits are up cos of that...otherwise...do the techron thing...tune it well...new NGKs and no vac leaks and maybe it'll pass. I'm in the middle of this myself with the 85 900T I have...it fails every year in NY high enhanced emissions zone, (downstate NY Metro)...it's a ROYAL PITA...because my car always only just fails...this year it's good on CO & NOx, but failed on HCs...so new plugs/techron and yet anotehr dyno run next week. I'm counting the years...another 3 tests and I'm emissions exempt..25 years. $1000 bets NY changes that law too!
