i didn't know that Posted by vvack0matic [Email] (#1443) [Profile/Gallery] (more from vvack0matic) on Mon, 18 Jun 2007 12:28:40 In Reply to: Sears told you that?, diskullman, Sun, 17 Jun 2007 22:19:57 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
about the shorter life span of the tire.
the alignment tec i was talking with was a tire guy in their tier shop that had i would guess a good amount of time working with aligning cars, seeing how he thought the world just opened up a new secret when he was aligning the 900, but his comments told me within the time he has ben aligning cars this was the first 900.
only thing i can come up with for the reason sears told Kevin o Leary
that the h rated would be no different than if they equipped them or the v rated,
im sure the tire tecs at sears never aligned to many 900 to know that there is a difference in the way the car sits. let alone to be smart enough to see the difference if they did align a 900.
just know i am not an alignment technician and would not know the slightest area or what to look for to try to find what this tec, found.
and im sure most that work at sears only have at the most 2 to 3 years under there belt.
grant-it there might be the one tec. there that has 10 years in the business at sears but im sure he/she would not be working on the cars.
it has ben around 4 to five years ago when i was talking with this alignment guy, and he had no relation with sears what so ever.
only thing i can say about the alignment job he did was when the car was on the lift (drive on lift) he had all kinds of strange tools hooked up to the front wheels. much like when a boot the police put on the car to keep it from moving. and a few other devices.
i have know idea what was being done all i know is the car got an astounding 35mph to the gallon afterwards.
