Thanks for all the input. First, I discovered that the Michelins are directional and the Sears tire tech put two on going the wrong direction. That can't help. With that fixed, it handles better, but still kind of soft, but that may be a function of their being so new. I have only put about 100 miles on them. Most of you seem to suggest that H rated tires of good quality (these are $100/each Michelins, on sale) should be fine and that V rated are not necessarily going to handle any better. So, I'll put some more miles on the car and see if she settles down.
