92 900t 3dr-been stapling up my headliner for 3 years now, the last time it fell down i had to rip it out. the sunroof had been leaking, and i only just got the cvt ready to drive daily. so, took the plunge, and pulled the headliner and c pillars. had to deal with the leaky roof first, and, turns out that a body shop had kinked one of the rear drain hoses (where it goes to exterior vent), and a front drain was blocked from bits 'o' junk. so, that dealt with, moved onto the headliner. local upholsterer had 2.5 yds of 1/8" headliner stuff, in a VERY close cream type color-let me have that for $20. got 2 cans of the 3m 08090 ($19 a can!) from napa. managed to get on pillar out of the sunroof cutout. my sunroof plastic stitch strips were not in good shape, so i just glued at the front and back edge-seems ok for now, we'll see how it lasts. the worst part of the job was the back corners of the headliner-lots of creases, but hey! $60??? . really pleased with the overall look, managed to do the whole thing by myself (wife prefers to break cars not help fix them). wish i had done it sooner (i admit, was kind of scared!). JUST scraped through with the 2 cans of glue, and i mean that! one pillar has a little less on than i had hoped. used the FAQ instructions as a good guide. highly recommended as toilet reading before picking up that torx driver! encourage every droopy 'liner out there to get it fixed. thanks saabnet!
