It's a fun-ish intermediate job. A 5 on the 1 to 10 scale of difficulty IMO. Removing the bleed nipple to obtain access to the nut on the line is advisable. It will be messy, so prepare a proper drip pan/cardboard covering underneath the entire system. When the line nut is removed from the clutch MC, you will more than likely have fluid draining from the MC, which is fed by the reservoir. Not a fast free flow, but more like a steady drip. For the next few steps, you'll want it to drip. Loosening the reservoir cap should increase the flow. Attaching the new line to the clutch MC first is best. That way, fluid will fill the tube and force air out as it flows down. When you notice fluid dripping from the exposed slave end of the line, then you can reattach that line and tighten it. Fluid will now be oozing out of the hole for the bleed nipple. Having replaced the line this way, when you insert and retighten the bleed nipple, there should be no further need to bleed the system. Just be sure to top up the reservoir. Of course, if it's been awhile since the clutch system fluid was refreshed, then this would be a good time to do that.
If you do have problems with air remaining in the system, which will be noticable with an improperly operating clutch, then you'll have to proceed with the standard bleeding methods.
