also, turbo cars are more complicated and generally more difficult to work on in the engine bay. i have one of each and take the turbo if i know i'm going to be going on long stretches, and the non if lots of stop and go.
funnily enough, the non (2.1L ) gets right up to 65 mph with very little prodding, and sings along quite nicely. it just lacks the afterburner effect of the turbo and is quite a bit louder at the exhaust and in the cabin...
