weird brake noise and highway vibration

Hello, I have a question about two separate issues on my 93 900S w/122K.

I just had a brake job, that is new pads and front rotors (the rear ones didn't need replacing I'm told) Brakes work OK but there is sporadic strange groaning sound, when I apply brakes or start car first thing in morning and apply the brakes. It's not a scraping sound like worn pads, just a deep throaty groan which lasts a second or two. Any ideas? Did the mechanic not refill the brakelines fully w/fluid or something like that.

Also, on another front, the car vibrates, it seems to come from front end, when accelerating up to highway speed, or going around a corner at highway speed. Mechanic who did the brakes said it could be aging motor mounts, he said they are hydraulic. Does that sound right and if so how important is it to replace or repair the motor mounts. Also are they costly? This is the first time I've heard of trouble w/ motor mounts, I've owned Pontiac Grand Prix, Nisssan 240SX, Honda Accord and Saturn, they've had their own issues at 100K plus, but not motor mounts.
