Why can't I get > 2 years out of Centric calipers? Posted by Saana88 [Email] (#207) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Saana88) on Tue, 25 Dec 2007 21:23:38 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
'88 900, rear 9000-style calipers adjusted properly... Why do they start dragging every two to three years? Is this a Centric thing? The fluid is clean, the flex hoses are five months old, the adjusters are adjusted fine, the pins and pad sliding surfaces are clean, rust-free, and lubed with brake slide grease, so why do I have to keep replacing my calipers? This is getting pretty annoying. I could have bought stock calipers a long time ago and gotten it right, not to mention they'd have the right size hex fittings on the sliding pins so I don't have to take the whole thing apart just to change my pads.
WTF?
