Boost is nice, quick boost is better.
Pull the center vac line at your APC solenoid (the one to the turbo compressor). Take a drywall screw and screw it into the restrictor in the hose barb and pull the restrictor out. Replace it with a smaller restrictor and watch the boost as you drive. The reaction is immediate. You can play with different size restrictors until you get one that you like. I've restricted mine down to about 1/32" on my 900T winter beater, loads of fun. I've gone as far as 1/64" on other cars but I was having issues with fuel cut.
I live in New York near the southern Vermont border. Lots of NYC and NJ ski traffic this time of year in their fancy cars. I was passing them five at a time. As soon as you pull into the passing lane and get on it you're immediately by the first car holding in mid red.
