I can't answer your question, but if you find that the automatic trans is on its way out you should seriously consider converting over to a
5-speed. That would cost you about $1k-$2k more, but it will add value to your car on resale and it will be a lot more fun to drive. I did just that last summer to my '91 900 CSET.
