Gary at SD this is def not the case. He insisted that a BOV would work just fine on my car. 1991 900T. What gives? Gonna post to BB to get a few more opinions.

If only it was solved, presto :)

So since i could blow into the 1" pipe and get a quite audible hiss from the BPV is it safe to say it is busted. And if it is busted (and not connected to 1" line or vac line) what affect would that have on my car.

I will say that the car reacted exactly the same with the BOV or BPV connected. Stuttering, loss of power at yel/red boost line. But do know that all this started happening after i installed new injectors (hi flow) and the BOV. Prior to doing these to mods it was soring to 3/4 red.

Since i was getting the same stutter with BOV or BPV i am not sure that the BOV is the problem. It def has made the car stall a few times but a lot less since i put in more shims/washers to tighten the spring pressure inside it.

The other thing to note is there is a fuel leak at the end of the fuel rail that, at idle, drips about every 15 secs. What affect, if any, would a leak like this have on boost pressures? Gary at SD says not any if at all.

So next steps?:

Fix fuel leak, see what happens?
Plug both ends of the BPV to see if that failed unit is contributing?
Install a new BPV (which i don't wanna do since i have the BOV) and see how it acts?
Look for cracked boots on intercooler?
Install check valve btwn intake and valve cover?
Check/replace all vac lines?
Blow into vac lines to see if a component has failed?

Just kind unsure where to go from here. And frustrated to hell that it ran awesome til i F'd with the injectors and BOV. def should have done these in seperate steps. OH WELL.
