I was just concerned because I always have to go out of my way to find DOT 4. Maybe it's the other way around now though.

I heard that the only difference between the two is that the DOT 4 can take higher temps before it expands. Not sure if this is true but it would explain what you said about changing the MC when going from 4 to 3.
