I snapped a key off in the ignition of my '93 900T a few years back. I had to leave the car in a questionable neighborhood overnight. My indy gave me his universal ignition switch to use to get the car home. He had an ignition switch minus the tumbler. He left the wires all connected to it and cut them off at about 6" and soldered male tabs on them. When I got back to the car, I just removed the center console, unplugged the wires from the ignition switch in the car, plugged them to the leads on the temp switch and turned the switch with a large screwdriver. Not very elegant, but it works.
