Make sure you have lots of paper towels. Its a greasy messy job.
Have a plastic spackle knife to force in all the grease that you will need to pack the hub before reinserting the shaft(you will need the circlip spreader then too.)Don't get crazy if the bearings flop outwhile you're cleaning befor repacking, they will go back in with a little manipulation. The site sponsers have a kit with grease, boot and circlip. BTW, given the way my remove and replace job developed, I found that I needed to work the steering rod "in and out" to make it easier to inch out the half shaft.
Also it would be very helpful to have those circlip type reversible plier tools that have the little wire points on the end. Unfortunately the circlip already on on my hub didn't have the eyelets and it was harder to spread it with all the grease slipping the speader off the clip Then all of a sudden, I got lucky and it( the shaft) just separated from the hub - just like that.
The kit came with "compression" boot clips for which you'll need a special CV strap cripping tool ($28) otherwise you can use one of those screw-tight hose clips.
