Given you want to keep the stock radio/cassette, your best option to do that is to find a late model 1992 or so 900 OR a 9000 that has the clariion unit built in. You will be able to get the radio/cassette and the CD/EQ, the DIN mounting boxes AND you need to get the amplifier under the front passenger (it drivers the rear speakers which are usually in need). Between the two, the 900 has a long cable between the dash and the cubby mounts, the 9000 will not. you need to either purchase that Y cable, find one at a junk yard (late model convertibles are a good place - people rip the sound stuff out but miss the significance of the DIN style cable, OR build one. This setup will also allow you to put a clarion CD605 style 6 changer somewhere else in the car, usual mounting is in the trunk. Again if you are getting this from a 9000 there is a cable running from the trunk (left side - if not visible remove the trunk fabric on the left side all the way forward to the back of the seats, there will be a metal brace running top to bottom, maybe at an angle, and you should see a zip tie on it, it's holding the cable coiled there.
