By and large, the 16v manifolds are pretty resistant to cracking, so I wouldn't hesitate in buying a used one from Goldwing, Andrews, Elite, etc. It shouldn't be terribly expensive ($150 sounds like $50-$100 too much). I would take the opportunity to replace both the head->manifold and manifold->turbo gaskets and - purely personally - have the manifold Jet-Hot/Swain/ceramic coated... it's useful for both performance and longevity.
