Good point about the studs - my strong advice is soak the both sides of them in PB Blaster or Seafoam or whatever a couple times before trying to remove them. You want every advantage when GENTLY backing them out. It's also highly recommended to replace all the studs and nuts with new parts when reinstalling. Those studs are under a lot of stress, and those that haven't broken will. You want new ones in there to minimize those chances. It's cheap insurance for keeping the car happy.
