That kind of crappy service is why you should always pay for service with a credit card. If so, you can write to the credit card company, tell them that they refuse to fix the problem you have paid to have fixed, and they will reverse the charges (refund your money). I had to do that with a garage about 10 years ago. Pretty much poisons the relationship with that shop, but I was never going to take my car back to them anyway. If you do this document your issues in a letter (credit card company will require that), and save every scrap of paper related to it. The shop could still take you to small claims, but likely will not unless it is a huge bill and they know they are right.
