It sounds like the typical clunk in reverse when hitting the brakes. You could take a wheel off and inspect that the pads have material left on them to be safe. The noise is due to having a half a hairs play in the wheel bearing and it clunks when changing direction. Saab put out a bulletin on it that if the customer is really really really (you aren't are you?) bugged by this that a shim could be put between the circlip and the wheel bearing. You can do a search on this right here.
It's really not a big after you get used to it.
